I'm thinking about a POL monitor, and I was wondering...
...is it possible that anyone has ever written a web-based POL monitor? In the end, it is matter of writing two simple scripts for the integrated web server, one which report status and the other which receive commands, like "Kill this scripts" or "kick that player"
Anyone??
Web monitor?
Re: Web monitor?
Yes, because it's just a two-line-of-code script
Look at the distro (\scripts\www) and at http://docs.polserver.com/pol099/fullfu ... ile=httpem

Re: Web monitor?
Precisely because it's as simple as that, I wouldn't like to spend time coding it!
Re: Web monitor?
Using aux services and mIRC I used to be able to receive stats, kick players, and do tons of things from IRC.

We have all different shards, hosting services, websites etc. etc.xeon wrote:Precisely because it's as simple as that, I wouldn't like to spend time coding it!
It's impossible to write something right for everyone: some need an html page, some an xml, someone else need to control over IRC, and I've seen something for the WAP (mobile phones) too.
