Need help...

I have a server and I'am using Zulu Hotel(Pol093) scripts..

but it always shut down by error of Hook.dll...

I changed pol.cfg but it still exist...

So,I want to use ZHFA (Pol095) scripts,but I can't compile it perfectly..

I need help..

Please help me.....

It would be better if you posted what errors you get while running ecompile.exe

I used adconvert96 to converts the scripts
and when I ecompile it,
there were a little errors...just one or two..I fix them at last...
but when I run Pol.exe
The program shut down in one second....

Hey I have been wanting to get ahold of some Zulu Hotel Scripts . I am real good at converting scripts. I have converted World of Dreams Scripts to Pol 097 already. Its not fine tuned. but the scripts will compile and run now with no errors. I plan on giving to the Distro Team to look at and maybe tweak. Then Maybe the team can place it as a download for others to use. I downloaded the script set and will look at it next.

Getting things to run is the easy part in my own experience. The thing that takes time is tracing every line of code for the changes so all functions work properly, that takes time.

And if you're gonna convert Zulu Hotel scripts to a higher core then 095 you are in for a long time of tweaking to make the gameplay the same. I run a converted ZH scriptset that I converted to 095 on my shard, and some equations needed to be completely rewritten to make the balance like the old ZH was.

To the original poster. check the start.txt and see what error shuts down pol.exe.

Snocks, I agree with you about what u said. I call "converting" getting the server to run with no major errors and to have most of the script functions in tact. I call "tweaking" tracking down all the tiny bugs that may arise that would take some time to correct.
You can have the converted scripts running and have most of the game functions working. But you may need to "tweak" graphics items etc.
