StartHere.sh / POLManager ( linux )

Post by AxelDominatoR »

The new, shiny and feature-plenty StartHere.sh v0.0.2 is out there!
It's still a work in progress, so there will be bugs ( and incomplete features ) even if I tested it enough.

Ok, here's the new features:

- Interface rewritten. Now is a bit more clear and "interactive". For example, items that will have problems/warning will be displayed in yellow.
- Added a startup check for: landtiles, tiles, multis cfg files. Realms. Scripts.
- Interface is now case INsensitive.

I will add soon a servers.cfg configurator and a pol.cfg configurator.
If you have suggestions, please share them!

There's much on the todo list still left to do, but I will be happy if you could test it and report bug/hints.

Hi,
When I the batch file I get the warning "- Some scripts are not compiled. Check them ASAP!". However as far as I can tell all the scripts compiled OK (there was some warnings but no errors). Just thought you might like to know.

BTW, Thanks for the script. I now can't live without it.

The script *cheats* a bit... it should really be fixed. Basically it counts the number of .src and the number of .ecl. If they're equal, then all is OK, else if there are more .src than .ecl the error is shown. It doesn't consider disabled packages and such...

I'm sorry for the lack of support but I had serious technical problems and was about 20 days away from internet :(

I'm working on a lot of new things for POLManager... stay tuned for v0.0.3 ;)
