Distro 096 introducted a new spawnsystem. Never tried it, but I quess it's way better than nothing. I think one can spawn items like reagents besides NPCs. Though, because the developing moved to the 097 distro, there might not be that much support if you run into problems.

Some other script sets sure have something, but can't help you out since I haven't played around with them much. Maybe someone else can point you out one.

If your current versions are from a set scripted and published by someone else, might be useful to know what set is it - someone might have done the conversion already and be thus able to help you out. (And though unlikely, might even share the scripts if you ask kindly!).

If the scripts of yours are unique or otherwise modified, you can try sharing them asking if someone did get those working on 096, to reshare.

That leads me to the last option I can think of: you can always get your hands dirty and try to do the scripting yourself.

*is a newbie scripter* I'd probably mess it up way more then it already is *laughs*

My other two friends are going to check out the one that came w/ 096 and I'm gonna get in touch with someone else and see if we can get a copy of theirs :)

Thanks for your reply!

It was trial and error.. I looked at existing scripts and moved on from there. I didn't know how else to do it.. I didn't have anyone to teach me. And I broke my test server lots *nods*

My area of expertise is building, the rest I'm learning on my own
