Does anyone know of a program that helps in the translation of pol scripts into c++?

? .src, .src is not c++. It is e-script and is a whole lot easier. Do you mean de-compiling pol? Note: Which is illeagel.

Oh nononooooooo, I thought you meant de-compiling POL into its C++ source code. Hmmm, translating e-script into C++ is exuastive and unnessary. As far as I know you can not convert Runuo into POL e-script either. Though, rescripting your shard altogether is really easy with POL. For example, to make custom ores with pol you have to slightly modify 5 files or better in POL compared to 15-20 in RUNUO. Also, POL may very well end up supporting KR while Runuo said it will not.

Also, POLs scripts - .src - are not C++ they are nice friendly e-script. If you need help creating a shard I will be more than happy to help you learn POL, there a a few tutorials with alot more coming in the GUIDES side of the forum.

Happy POLing

First, RunUO uses C# primarily, not C++. They might look similar, but they aren't the same thing. Second, there is no program to 'convert' eScript to C#, C++, VB or anything else. It's not gonna happen. Even if you could somehow get the syntax of scripts converted to C#, RunUO's environment is totally different and your 'converted' scripts would be of little use anyway.

RunUO has a lot of scripts and such available for it too if you just look around. Or better yet, learn the language and write your own, whether it's RunUO or POL.
