As most of you know I had a stroke on January 1 2017. Happy New Year to me

It was a left brain infarc. Which is a loss of blood to part of my brain rather than a hemorrhage which would have possibly been worse. It left me paralysed on my right side and affected my speech a little.
I have regained some use of my right leg, enough to be able to walk with the aid of a "hemi-walker". A hemi-walker looks kind of like a folding step stool without the steps of course. You can think of it as having the same function as a cane but with much more stability due to it having four legs spaced about 1-1/2 to 2 feet apart.
My right arm is still mostly paralysed. I have a little movement in the arm and hand but nothing near functional. Unfortunately I am right handed so I am stuck learning to do everything left handed for now. I have gained a new appreciation and empathy for people who have lost an arm, especially on their "favoured" side. I never gave it much thought before but now my heart goes out to them.
It takes me longer to type naturally because I am doing it one handed and with my left hand. Some uppercase letters are really a b--ch to type. My fingers just are too short

Anyway, I just wanted to say "hello" and thanks. Also, I am thankful to God my stroke was as "mild" as it was because Ive seen members of my family whose strokes were far worse leaving them completely paralysed and unable to speak.
I still have a long path ahead, so your prayers are welcome and needed.
