First a disclaimer: I have not cleared this name through the POL-IT-Bureau but for now I have a test server running with the latest build of the Distro. It is listed on the POL Shard Listings page.

Auto-account creation is enabled. Simply log-in and your account will be created.
Server address is: hopelives.servegame.com
Port is: 2593

As this is a test server, data wipes may occur from time-to-time. This means, in the event of a data wipe, items, characters, and accounts will be cleared. I will try not to do a wipe but there might be occasions that require it.

The test server is running a special build of the POL Core. This build is a rewrite of the way POL handles movement internally. We need testers to log-in and do movement-related things. So log-in to the server. Auto account creation is enabled. We need testers. I am placing some vendors in or outside the main Britain Bank. There is a shipwright at the Oaken Oar directly South of the main Britain Bank. There is also a horse spawn near the Bank.

We need testers!

Some of the NPCs near the bank:
An architect is in the bank sells houses.
An appraiser is in the bank and buys houses.
A banker is in the bank.
A mage who sells recall runes.
A healer is outside the bank just in case someone needs healing or resurrected.
Keep in mind these NPCs tend to wander. So they may not be right outside the bank.
A shipwright at the Oaken Oar sells boats.

Special commands currently available to players on the test server:
powerup - This allows you to raise all of your skills to 100 for testing.
makeregs - Will create a blue backpack, in which are stacks of 50 of the basic reagents required for magery.
makegold - Will create the amount of gold you specify, split into stacks of 60k gold coins, in a targeted container. Usage: .makegold [integer].
spellbook - This command creates a full spellbook so you have the mark, recall and gate spells.

We need testers!!

Things to test: Walking and running on level ground, up and down stairs and unlevel terrain, riding a mount, recall and gate spells, placing a multi-house and going in and out and up and down stairs inside the house, and buying a boat and sailing.

I have tried to provide everything you may need for this phase of testing. These tests shouldn't require a lot of time to perform. If you see anything unusual having to do with movement we would prefer you to post it as an issue on POL Server GitHub page or, if you do not have a GitHub account, post it in the Bug Reports and Feature Requests forum. If possible, also provide a screen recording of the anomaly. Sometimes the videos are better than descriptions. Also, provide information on how to reproduce the bug.

Have I mentioned we need testers.

One more thing about testing. Always test with the normal Classic client provided by OSI/Broadsword from uo.com.

It took me awhile but the Test Server is now updated to the latest Distro "version". I put version in quotes because we do not have a versioning system for the Distro but the files are current as of the date of this post.

Once again I have been a long time getting the test server updated to the latest version of the Distro. Earlier I did the update. It is now current with the latest commit, context menus.

Feel free to log-in and test it. Auto-account creation is enabled.
