Not sure if there is one already(however i did search the forums and couldn't find a reference).

However i've created a public discord server.

I was going to suggest it too, I think its more user-friendly than the old irc channel.

why discordapp?

• You can still read old messages later even if you disconnect. You can create an account and keep always up to date.

• A lot of free shards are using discordapp to communicate with the community.

• You can download the app for mobile phones and use it like whatsapp.

• Admins can easily configure and manage their channel. Add bots to post new GitHub revisions, promote or ban players.

Naa Discord doesn't have an IRC bridge that I know of. I myself have been a big proponent of IRC for a long time but over the last year or so I've been turned to Discord and i actually like it a lot.

There absolutely are discord <-> IRC bridges. I'll look at setting one up.

We had one for a previous ZULU server we were running and it lasted for a bit and then people were getting annoyed, eventually everyone migrated to discord.
