I'm trying to get POL running on a Windows XP SP3 VM, followed the tutorial here, but when it hits read_multidefs it just stops, the start log ends there too.
I'm new to POL, so I don't know where to start debugging the issue.

I was having the same problem with some generated realms with ML was ok with SA the same.

I used the 7.0.23 version from this thread: http://forums.polserver.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5119

My ultimate goal is to see if I can create a free web server package for POL servers, but step one is to get a test-POL server up and running..

Maybe I should also point out, I'm using 099 from the Complete Windows distro pack download on the site.
