• Currently unknown crashes occuring (Stack trace inside)

The server first crashed after 12 or so hours of uptime, with the original trace, but at the time ignored it. When it crashed again with the same script being last I disabled that script but the frequecny is only got higher, now the server crashes within 2 minutes of starting.

All the scripts mentioned are ones that go on large cycles for extremely long periods of time and in the case of the :brainai: ones, they can have as many as 18,000 instances running (For our many 18k NPCs..). I haven't had this issue on the windows based build (Currently using linux) though the server does get dangerously close to the 2 gig memory mark on it.

So basicly, just let me know what you need (server specs, more traces, anything else), any help would be appreciated

Sorry, are you suggesting dud memory, or check the usage? The machine has 4 gigs currently and as I was watching the usage go up the last value I saw was 22.5%, so it wasn't getting close to 2 gigs, but would dud memory cause this sort of crash? I'll get it swapped out right away.

Our shard is always above 75% (Quad core, 4 Gb RAM, linux, but huge maps

)

If the script that came out twice after the crashes is a frequent script (combat scripts, usually), it isn't strange, maybe the problem isn't there.
I think CrazyMan was suggesting to check the memory with a memtest, I had a similar problem a year ago and it was a faulty memory module.
