Big Note:
Zulu Hotel uses a staff password for logging in!
default accountname = admin
default password = admin
default staff password = admin
to change the staff password go to the "scripts/playermanager.src" file and edit the line
var staffpassword := "admin";
to whatever password you desire!
Dont forget to change the admin password too!

Instructions for installing Pol 097 with the Zulu First Age Scripts
Note: The Zulu First Age Scripts have been converted but you will need to "tweak" them to completely work as desired.
Note: These directions use the client -> Mondain's Legacy.
Note Sections within the &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& are for Windows Users only
Note Sections within the ******************** is for Linux Users only
Note Sections within the %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% are for all users
Steps:

1. Go to Pol main website at
http://www.polserver.com
2. Click on the tab downloads
3. Click on the link -> advanced downloads page
4. Click on the link -> Distro -> 097
5. Download the file -> 097-BasicSetup.zip
5a. Note: If you are a Linux user, Do not close this download page. You will need it.
6. Extract the files into a directory of your choosing
7. Create a directory for your Pol Zulu Server
8. Copy the contents of the extracted files into you Pol Zulu Server Directory

8a. From the Pol advanced downloads page,
8b. Click on the link -> Linux -> 097
8c. Download the file -> pol-linuxbin-097.4-2009-03-23-Coregina-gentoo.tar.gz
8d. Extract the files into a directory of your choosing
8e. Copy the contents of the extracted files into your Pol Zulu Server Directory
8f. Note: make sure to overwrite all files
8g. From the Pol advanced downloads page.
8h. Click on the link -> Distro -> 097
8i. Download the file -> 097-Distro.zip
8j. Extract the files into a directory of your choosing
8k. Look for the file -> StartHere.sh
8l. Copy the file ->StartHere.sh<- into your Pol Zulu Server Directory
Note: If you do not want to save these files then do this:
8m. Delete the file -> 097-Distro.zip
8n. Delete the file -> pol-linuxbin-097.4-2009-03-23-Coregina-gentoo.tar.gz

Note: I would suggest doing this so you dont get confused.
8o. Delete the directory that you made for the extracted files in both the directories of:
097-Distro.zip
pol-linuxbin-097.4-2009-03-23-Coregina-gentoo.tar.gz

8f. Copy these files from your temp Full Distro Directory to your "scripts" main Pol Zulu

8h. Delete the temp directory for your files of Full Distro

11. If you followed along perfectly. You should have 1 Directory for your Pol Server with
all the basic Pol files.
12. Create a new folder in your Pol Zulu directory called -> MUL

12a. Change the permissions setting on the file ->StartHere.sh<- so you can execute the file
12b. Also, I would delete all ".bat" files so you dont get confused with them and any windows
".exe" files.
12c. Enter the "scripts" directory within your Pol Zulu Server Directory
12d. Copy the file -> ecompile.cfg.example
12e. Paste the file in the same directory giving it a new name of -> ecompile.cfg
12f. Edit the file -> ecompile.cfg
12g. Make sure to update the directory information so that it is correct
12h. Save your ecompile.cfg file

13 Copy the ultima client files into your Pol Zulu Server directory -> MUL

14. If you want the other map areas copy these files to your Pol Zulu Server Directory -> MUL

16a. Choose Menu Option -> A
16b. Choose Menu Option -> B wait til it completes
16c. If you used all the mul's ie map0, map2, map3, map4 etc. choose -> F Build all realms wait til completes.
16d. If you used only the map 0 mul's choose -> G Build Britainia realm and once complete, H Build Britainia Alt realm.
16e. Select the client you are using for these instructions select -> Mondain's Legacy
16f. Wait til all the muls have been built. This can take a little while.

After this step your muls should be all ready to go!

Now lets install the converted Zulu Pol 097 Script Set!!!!

17. Download -> zulu97scripts.zip
18. Extract the files in a temporary directory of your choosing
19. In the temporary directory move through the directory structure until you can select the following
directories:
config
data
docs
log
pkg
regions
scripts
20. Select these directories and copy/paste these directories to your main Pol 097 Zulu directory
Important: Make sure to overwrite all files!
21. Now the fun part!
22. Enter into the "scripts" directory of your main Pol Zulu server.
23. run ecompile
24. Note: If it does not compile all the scripts double check your ecompile.cfg -the directory structure
must be correct for it to work-
25. If all went correct, you should have all your scripts built! Yea!

26. Enter into the "config" directory in the main Pol Zulu server directory
27. edit "servers.cfg"
28. add your server information
29. Save the file
30. Run Pol!
31. Now your set! Time to tweak it to whatever settings u desire! Have fun!
