Hi all, just wondering how hues are processed for the 3D client?
I have a modified hues MUL which works fine in 2D but in 3D the colors are different, usually grey.
Are the 3D hues held in a different file or is it how the 3D client interprets the color spread?
The hues in question were added at 2373 (0x945) -2400 (0x960)
Is there any way to get it to display the same hue as 2D?
Edit: I've just tested with a few items, platemail legs and chest work fine, but ankh's and longswords dont

Re: Hues in 2D and 3D
The 3D Client was never fully finished by OSI (Go figure, they started something but didn't finish it). It would not surprise me if they never intended for certain items in the 3D client to be colored, so added a flag for the 3D to decide if something CAN be colored or it's handled different. By different, I mean possible only certain hue ranges may be allowed in 3D for certain items (since OSI does have coloring based on Ore used). Can't verify this, as my OSI account is uhm....... empty now. LMAO. Dang you OSI!
