I'd like to ask you whether it's possible to transfer my players to another server while playing on mine. I have two servers ran on my local machine and one basically serves as a test server while the other serves as a normal play server. I have had a brief idea of creating a special "battleground" server where players could go and fight upon entering a special gate. I'd like that gate to reconnect them to my SECOND server, just to make sure no lag will be felt on the first one. This idea is not only to keep lag down, I also have millions of other uses in my head for which it would be an AWESOME feature.

Secondly, yes. LOL.

You can directly "port" them, as we do not use Server boundaries. (and that in itself is different than what you are asking anyway). However, using Auxillary Port systems, you can mirror entire accounts (acctname/pass, chars, and items on them and in their banks, even location and realm). Using a script, trigger the mirror for someone accepting to go to the battleserver, then send a gump asking them to log in THERE after they are disconnected. Give them a disconnect after they close the gump.

Btw, there is no "outbound" ability with the Aux Svc. Which means, it would be best to have a webpage for handling this. Or some other program, etc, to trigger and accept it. Etc Etc. Aka, a pain in the ass.

Easiest solution I can think of (took 20 seconds thinking on it LOL).
