It would be helpful, and less frustrating, if you, the board admin(s), would entirely disable the attach file option in those forums where it is not allowed. I find it a bit annoying when the attach form is present but when I attempt to attach a file I get a "zip type files are not allowed" or "you are allowed 0 uploads" or whatever the errors are. I am not using this version of PHPBB but I seem to remember that the attach option could be disabled entirely for various forums and thus prevent it from appearing in a post form. If that is not the case then disregard this post.

For reference the two places I was unable to attach files (so far) were in PM replies and the POL 0.95 General Help forum.
