Nope. Not that I am aware of. You have to spawn them with regionspawner or spawnpoints.

Regionspawner?
What is that and how does it work?

Look in \pkg\systems\spawnSystem
There's a command, .spawner, that you use to create groups of NPCs and mark off regions to spawn.
I am not going to write a complete tutorial here but I'll give you a general idea of how it works. It's a gump driven system so is fairly easy to use.
For example if you want to spawn forests you would create a group of NPCs called forest_animals and in that you might put things such as panthers, bears and greathearts. Then you'd go to your forests and add them as regions and then tell the spawner to spawn forest animals in those areas.
