I'm glad you are working on the chat packethook. I've been waiting for this one for a while now.

I will not comment on features not working until you finish enabling them - eg actually sending messages!

Keep up the good work. Packethooks are not something I seem to be able to get my head around.

Thanks. I've had it for a while but finally got around to putting it in the distro. Many of the packets will be very easy, like ignore, unignore, toggle ignore. I really like working on packet hooks so it helps me from getting bored. Having people that want to use it also helps.

It would be possible to be running a bot in Perl, that connects to POL, gets in the chat and joins/creates a conference. It could be a help bot, or it could provide statistics for the server. I can't actually think of a good reason to do it, maybe someone else can, but it would be possible.

You could even write a script to act as a wrapper for a MUD. So you could play your favorite MUD while you played UO.
