I am wanting to start programming to mount an OU shard, following the tutorial on the link viewtopic.php?f=51&t=6225, following the guidelines stay locked in the configuration of the pol configurator as it does not appear the option to select the pol or OU directory.

I have a similar issue when I use remote desktop to access the POL server machine in my house. I think my issue is the native video resolution on the server machine. Your issue might be related to your video resolution. What is the resolution of your monitor? The Configurator should be compatible with 720p and higher resolutions.

As I use the notebook I use a maximum of 1366x768. When I open the program it is already in full screem.

Ok. It appears resolution is the problem. The strange thing is I added scroll bars to allow for 720p resolution. The scroll bars work on a 720p display from what I have heard but with your notebook, and my remote session, the scroll bars do not work correctly. I need to look at display scaling options. So give me a little time to see if I can resolve this. I am very sorry you cannot use the Configurator on your notebook.

I am very grateful for your help and the commitment to continue updating the program, I will be waiting for the use of the program, but I am very grateful for the feedback. In the meantime we are going to the most difficult way to program doing everything by hand.

In the POL root directory, there should be a starthere.bat for Windows users and a starthere.sh for Linux users, and a subdirectory named "batchfiles" that will help with some of the setup. The subdirectory is needed for the main starthere file. If you do not have those two items, you can get them from the Distro repository.
