Hello folks

Question is - is POL support last enhanced client (HSA) or not?
I am realy want to buy POL server side that working well with last enhanced HSA client.

I've tried a lot stuff, MaxTileID, UOFeatureEnable etc this is my previous topic - viewtopic.php?t=5592
i've got a lot situations, client crashes after some steps, freezes, unknown packets 0xf4 etc but never stable version...

duh...

what this mean and seems like POL is not support that stuff :shame:

I haven't used the newest clients, but it looks like your client is crashing. From what I gather, the 0xF4 is a crash report from the client to the server:
...admin...Toha...192.168.1.123...clnt.exe...CRASHˆ...
Did you try teleporting to a different location? Did you change any client files?

i've change just client name to clnt.exe this is all but with UOSA.exe all the same.
yes i've teleported character from start location to Britain city in forest, there just trees and grass like on video. sometimes i can go 2-3 screens up to brit grave but then crash again.

Can you log the packets? In a log, is there always the same packet arriving when the client freezes?

Weird. It's hard to tell from that what may be the problem. Do you have pkthooks on (for example, on packet 0x78)? Did an older version of that client work before?

no, there no hook on 0x78. https://github.com/polserver/polserver + 99 distro. all scripts recompiled, server started without any errors. there no any my stuff just default.

i have server side that working well with Enhanced 4.0.2.1 but i don't know how i did it because i am try to make it wirking some years from time to time. With 2d no problem.

What do you mean by working server side? It works on some shard with the same client?

Can you please post the result of chr.clienttype and chr.clientversion once the client is logged in?

chr.clienttype == 511
chr.clientversion == empty string

by working well server side with enhanced client i mean that i have POL server and i can login by enhanced 4.0.2.1 but its one of previous attemps. Now i am talking about clean https://github.com/polserver/polserver + 99 distro

Then I would say we have to reconsider our client version logic used for features. It has problems with the 3d version of the client. That's why the client crashes because it receives old versions of packets.
Don't know when I'm on my PC again to fix this stuff,been a while. Maybe I can stress someone else ;)

Hi!

With the enhanced client that you use, I could log into the server, however I now have the same problem reports in the forum, I walk a few steps and crash.

How do you set up the realm in the POL since the new version does not have the ".mul."?

Convert UOP do MUL will do the job.

I got Fiddler to convert the files.

Using the enhanced client I use the archive ".MUL" the classic client in POL? Does not exist archive ".MUL" in the enhanced client.

Thank Aderal, could convert the files with fiddler, however the error persists, my doubt was if even using the 3D client I would use in my POL maps 2D client.
