Suggestion for a new forum - Shard Design and Development

For some time now I've been thinking that it would be nice to have a place where developers could discuss various ideas relating to shard development and world building.

The first forum would be sort of a "brain storming" forum where ideas could be posted and discussed. This wouldn't necessarily be a place for script postings but more of a place to hammer out the logic when implementing such things as religions or a new skill someone is adding. Certainly some script questions and examples would be posted ofcourse but I'm thinking the posts would be more of a general discussion such as: "I want to do this thing and I'm thinking about it working thus and so. Does anybody see a problem with my idea and if so could you suggest a better way?" or "I have a religion package with these three religions, Peace, War and Wealth. I want to add more rites to them but I need some ideas. Anyone care to offer some?" Those examples are probably not the best I could come up with if I took more time but I think you get the idea.

The second forum would be for world building questions. Things related to map editing, adding custom graphics, adding animations and that sort of thing. We already have a terrific utility for modifying most of the MUL files, UO Fiddler. Along with UO Fiddler there are map editors such as the updated World Builder (the map editor originally created by Punt) and CentrEd that aid in the creation of custom worlds. It might be nice to have a place here, on the POL forums, where developers could discuss and ask questions rather than having to leave here and go to other sites to get answers.

Anyway, if the POL Developers think these forums might be beneficial and add them I know I'd appreciate it.

sounds like a good idea, i think this would also bring more people to the forums to discuss these kinda things. it gets kinda depressing checking them every couple hours and seeing no posts

Strongly Agree , any news on if this might be added anytime soon? would be mighty helpful for a lot of users here!
