Icronic Scriptbase

Post by MuadDib »

Old file I found, it is not one of the duplicates out there people tried to make. This should be the actual base I ran for several years on Icrontic. Can't remember which Core it was, or if it included the POLHook code or not hehe.

Anyway, here it is, if anyone finds it useful for learning (it was the scriptbase I learned eScript with when i started).

Is this the one you released a couple years ago Maud? I have that one but if this is different then I'll know whether to add it to my "library of shards".

Hello, thank you for uploading this.

But I couldn't find packethook.txt no matter how much I try. Is there any chance you could upload it too please?

Did you enter a script to compile? It looks like you just ran the eCompile executable without specifying a script.

Try pasting the following into your command window. This assumes that the ecompile.cfg is set-up properly and that the root of your POL directory is C:\POL

Code: Select all

ecompile C:\POL\ -a -A -r -f
If your POL folder is at a different location then change the C:\POL part of the command to the location of your installation of POL. That sets most of the switches needed to compile, including re cursing sub-directories and forcing a recompile of all scripts even if they were previously compiled properly.

I know this is a bit of an old topic, but both of these versions seem to be corrupt when I download them, is there anyone out there with a non-corrupt version of this? :) Or a version of the Ikrontik script base?

It is also available on GitHub under Yukiko's_shard_collection along with other public releases. They are old shards that need serious upgrading but they are there :)

I believe it is a POL 095 set of scripts, possibly even earlier. The older Cores are available in the Github link I posted.
