Crash to write speech

Friends, I'm still having some difficulty.
I need your help. After much searching I was successful in accessing my old POL 096 server with a 4.02 client, everything works except text. If I write something in the game, it crashes and disconnects the character.
Can someone help me?

Try going into your settings and change your speech color. I've seen instances where players would crash if their text color setting was corrupted.
