Good morning,

i found some trouble on starting POL 099.1 (binary downloaded from forum link).
This POL instance run on a VM with Windows Server 2012 R2 Std.
During start task, pol crash on running scripts start.ecl.

I've installed al c++ runtime (2015 first and 2017 after), but nothing has changed.

I've also tryed the same instance on a Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 x64 but pol run normaly.

i've to compile pol with specific settings for running on Win Srv 2012?

When the POL Core crashes it usually produces a *.dmp file in the POL root directory. If you find that file please post it here. The file can help the developers understand the reason for the crash. Also post any Windows error messages that are displayed.

Oh... nice to know. But next time it would help to get the output from the console/log.

We're currently lacking error handling in the cases when the port can't be opened. It's also happening if, for example, you try to use a port less than 1024 on Linux.

Are need specific distro for test, or all are the same?
