problem with new items

Post by gha » Tue Jan 24, 2012 5:21 am

hello,

I added new clothes in my shard and everything works great except when the character with a new cloth sits down in a chair, then the animation of the cloth disapears.

Example, new cloth works fine when the character is standing:

but disapears when the character sits down:

any idea about how to fix this?

Looks like there is no animation for that dress when sitting, only way is to edit the animation

but this item uses the default dress anim that comes with uo, its not a new custom animation. this new dress is only a new item plus a new gump with an existing animation. but none of my new items shows animation when the character sits down and the character appears naked.

What version of client are you using?

We had the same problem some time ago. We couldn't figure out how to fix it. Then at some point it seems to have fixed itself. The only thing I could determine was that it had to do with the client version we were using because we changed to a newer client. I haven't gone back to the older one to check so I can't say for certain.

Then again it might have to do with the version of POL Core too, again because we've updated that as well since our "naked sit-ins".

Oh by the way, I like the dress.
Sincerely,
Yukiko

I would tell you a UDP joke but you might not get it.
