POL Core 099 has finally gone official after nearly 10 years!

Go and get it while supplies last!
Stop by the Downloads page and pick-up your copy but hurry! The pentup anticipation for this event is enormous. So much demand for it is causing a mad rush to the page that we don't know how long the current supplies will last. Hopefully you can grab a copy before we have to re-order. :)

Talk about going from sub-light then to warp speed!

Last night (by my time zone it was last night) we were discussing the real possibility of finalizing 099 then this afternoon it was like a lightning strike. Zappo! We were again, with more eagerness and fervor, discussing it then suddenly Nando posts on Discord "ok, now it's official" and the new branch for POL 100 was created and the POL 099 branch was closed except for bug fixes that may arise.

The name for POL 100 that received the most votes was submitted by Nando;
POL 100 - Never Gonna Give You Up

So all of you who were waiting for 099 to come out of beta, wait no longer!

Thanks to all the Core developers for their hard work on POL. Without your contributions we would not have such a wonderfully versatile UO emulator.

In addition to this, with some of the improvements that have been put into POL099 i'm happy to assist people if you're looking at upgrading your scripts to be POL099 compatible contact me on here or on Discord and i'll see what we can do to get you up and running with the most current core.

A new build of POL 099 is out fixing the Accessible issue.

This is POL version 099.1 available on the Downlods page. I realizrd I had some dates wrong before. The files were correct though. Hopefully all the dates are correct now :)

  Added:   range parameter to Accessible(chr, item, range := ACCESSIBLE_DEFAULT). 
           Valid values: range >= 0, range == ACCESSIBLE_DEFAULT or range == ACCESSIBLE_IGNOREDISTANCE.
		   The default range will be defined as the servspecopt entry "DefaultAccessibleRange". If that 
		   entry doesn't exist, the "DefaultDoubleclickRange" will be used instead (which defaults to 2).
		   
  Fixed:   Accessible(chr, item) now checks for the distance to the item. Differently from the distance 
           of 2 tiles the docs stated, the allowed distance before was about 18 tiles. To recover the old behavior,
		   use ACCESSIBLE_IGNOREDISTANCE as range.

Hahaha. Xeon you could have upgraded your server a long time ago. You just did the same thing most of us do, delayed today the things you could always do tomorrow :) but I am glad to hear that you are going to update your server.
