Current stable version of POL crashes during saves

I'm experiencing the following problem with this version of POL:

a) Whenever I load a large enough data folder (lets say 200mb)
b) During save, POL generates the .ndt files.
c) POL crashes and doesn't even generate a .dmp file.
d).ndt files are still in the folder.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with POL or with my computer.

Stable? No idea what you are talking about.
What svn revision is it? Was a back trace printed?

Build the latest revision 784 and try again.
