help: upgradeing pol 98 to 99

Ahoy da mates.

Before I start I would like to warn you about my bad english, but I will try my best, and in case something is unclear let me know.

However, I am coming from a small german freeshard, and right now we are useing following server:

linux x64
pol98 x86

and we would like to upgrade it to

linux x64
pol99 x64


So far we were able to make the Server run, but we cant find a client wich works on this server.
It just hang up everytime by the "verifying account" part and we get the following consol message:
client connected from 192.168.18 (interne ip)
clkient connected (Total: 1)

Any idea how to fix this?

Uhmm... you did configure servers.cfg and uoclient.cfg ?

we found the problem in our pol.cfg, but right now we have a other problem;

Does anyone know how we can compile pol 99? Also whats the best "Virtual Studios" version for this?
(We werent lucky with the free version so far)

We running a Linux Server
