Adding animations/data

Adding animations/data

New clients (for example ML clients) no longer use verdata file. I know, that I can add anims to anim[x].mul files, but I think it is better to add anims (or other data) to file defined by us, so original UO files stay unaffected. Is there any way to do it? For example, is there any edited new client, which still reads verdata or allow to add new data in other, but similar way? If no, is it possible to edit client in that way? To summarise - what is the best way to add new animations to UO?
