POL Scripter - new version by Hannibal

Post by Hannibal29 »

Hi guys!

Here's the beta version of the editor i've been worked with focus on POL Script.
Feel free to test and suggest improvements, ok?
I know there are still some bugs and things that do not work yet, but that will be corrected and implemented in the next releases.

Try to open the application menu, click on the left top small circle
A menu will appear with a button "Settings" ;)

Text doesn't scroll smoothly, when you hold down the arrow button. The same with Delete. If you hold it down, it erases the leters, but it doesn't show it untill you release the button. (It's a bit like Russian Roulette :D )

The "Go" button doesn't work in help menu.(I know that these are files from this site. That's why it doesn't work)

It would be nice if code Snippets and File explorer could work in one area as tabs. (you never need both of them at the same time) Then the text editor area could be bigger.

yeah man, nice work! =)
but for complete excellence you can do intuitively typing POL's functions like in Visual Studio.
you type "send" and your Scripter suggest to you to type "SendSysMessage();"

intuitively: variables, own functions from main script, own func from include;
search in main src and includes;
like project browser - you open .src file with includes and can see tree of includes. from that tree you can open include files, not from file manager.
compilator , POL starter.

after that you should change name from POL Scripter on Visual Studio POL )))

Hi.

Great work but why not to open a project on sourceforge or create a mantis/bug tracking page? So it's more cleare to see which are next steps and which bugs are already in list...

A feature I find essential and was not able to find (maybe my fault?) is the "search in files"... notepad++ and textpad have it and I really cannot work without that function...

However, great job :)

Any idea when the RAR file will be re-uploaded? I get an error when I try to open it with 7-Zip.
