You can edit the gumps that make up that login screen, get a gump editor load up gumpart.mul/.idx and look for the same gumps as that login screen, etc. Everything you need is here; http://www.uo-desktop.uoo.ru/prog_e.htm This isn't really a core feature suggestion... :P Unless I missed something, l...

If Austin decided to host an official POL shard, it wouldn't slow down the development of the distro. If anything, it would speed it up. You get more work done when people report bugs and hand out suggestions. By people, I mean players. If you don't understand that concept and you host a shard, I do...

I say we slaughter the two people that voted no.

This WILL get the distro completed at a much faster rate(Even if poor Austin is left with doing it all. Sorry man, lol.), there's no doubt about that. Players are high motivation for shards, everyone who hosts/hosted one knows that.

I highly doubt this would effect cpu usage. My attackhook is so damn ridiculously large I sometimes want to slit my wrists because I know I am going to have to eventually rewrite it. But it doesn't effect much cpu usage at all, if any.

Packaged npcdesc.cfg issues...

Why does it automatically append the package name to the npctemplate of an npc? Can this be removed? Or is there a really good reason? npc := (Packaged npc.) var npcdesc_cfg := ReadConfigFile(":*:npcdesc"); var npc_entry := npcdesc_cfg[npc.NPCTemplate]; I rest my case, lol. And yes, I've tried addin...

I found 2, both of which only work with lower client versions.

Any others out there I should try?

Packet ID: 0x34 - Issue Fix

This stops players from using programs like injection to check to see if staff are online. Also logs when a player uses it to check staff or someone that's hidden/really far away.

0x34 GetStatus Packethook.

[fixed] - Packet ID: 0x34 - Issue

Packet ID: 0x34 (Get Player Status) BYTE[1] getType 0x04 - Basic Stats (Packet 0x11 Return) There's no distance, concealed and possibly hidden(unchecked) checks for Basic Stats request. People are using this with injection to detect when staff are online. It's a really simple packethook fix I may ...

I think you guys should contribute by helping with the completion of the 097 distro. If you do that then people might actually start listening, because I know I'm not going to until I see your dedication towards POL, rather than just sitting around crying for pol to go opensource, give the true deve...

[POL097-2008-02-26 Coregina] Weird crash, no dump.

This is the best I could come up with, the trouble started here. I wasn't around at the time of the crash, I just got home and saw a little popup box saying some kind of error. Usually we run at around 450/600mb of ram usage, when I checked task manager(before I closed that little box.) it said POL....

PHP+AuxSVC Account Creator

Props to MuadDib for POLPack/UnPack code. The basics: Userdude inputs account/password/email. php script sends POL the information, POL checks if the account is not used, if not used POL stores the info in datafile sends the OK back to the php script, php script sends an email to the email specified...

Eddyboy, reading your post just gave me an idea.

Anytime someone creates a new account or changes their password just;
account.SetProp("Password", new_password);

That way later you can just;
account.GetProp("Password");

If you want to grab it.

Might be because most of us are already behind on client features scriptwise and if POL suddenly accelerated at the speed of light and enabled a whole bundle of features, our heads would probably explode from all the goddamn up...

Looking for something =)

Started using client 4.0.0l on our shard and come to find out that the newer Razors don't like 4.x clients. After about what seemed to be 20 hours of searching through their cluster fuck of a forum, I have found a solution! Of course on another site in, I think it was in Russian? So yeah anyway, get...
