This is just a guess. But I think it would work best, at least I'm pretty sure this is the only way to.

Use an insanely out of date client not supported by razor.

Why do you want to block it anyway?

I don't know what you guys use to do this stuff, but that program is just a suggestion if you wish to get things done a lot faster than those other programs will. There's no need for building in POL then extracting to a cfg file. You just have to load it, open the map editor, scroll(or goto) the spo...

I didn't read everyone's post, sorry if this falls off topic. But I was stumbling along the beatin path of UO mul editing programs and found one that I fell in love with. It's called MulEditor, http://www.runuo.com/forums/third-party-program-support/58594-muleditor.html It's got a really great map a...

It's not only the fact that we're using the same variable name twice. It's the fact that any variable used inside of a if, for, foreach, while, do, repeat , etc can't be used outside of the statement. It doesn't matter if it does have the same name, it only exists inside of one of those statements a...

I don't think this is a bug and I really hope it's not because I've done a lot of code with duplicate vars, each duplicate var with it's own purpose of course, so they're not really duplicate. You'll get an compiling error if you do something like this; program TextCMD(mobile) var x := 1; while ( x ...

It wouldn't return events that are queued. We want to get the events that are sent to the script while the script is doing something and not listening for events... understand? function Get_Events_Queued( ) // Result will be array of structs. var result := array; var ev; while (ev := Wait_For_Event(...

Wait_For_Event(0);

Get_Queued_Event(); - Would just return the most recent queued event. Get_Events_Queued(); - Would return an array of queued events. I'd like to have these for NPCs. For instance; when you have an npc chase after a mobile, that npc is only going to run after the player, unless you put in a wait for ...

POL on MAC?

Can you run pol on Mac? I don't know a damn thing about macs, but they look really nice and realiable and I'm thinking about buying one. Anyone know anything about macs? I got a few more questions if anyone does.

Thanks for bringing that up OldnGrey. I'll fix the opposing factions thing when I get a chance too.

I meant to have Neutral an opposing faction to Chaos/Order and Chaos/Order shouldn't be able to request an alliance with them. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote it, lol.

you want to use a for() not while()

Code: Select all

    for (i := 1; i >= staffList.Size(); i += 1 )
        if(lower(name[staffList[i]]))
            SendMessage(quem, "The word " + staffList[i] + " was not authorized to use in the name.");
            changeName(quem);
            break;
        endif
    endfor

I might try to use gumps that way here in a little.

*Fixed the << >> thingy, missed that one. I'll commit changes when I do more work on it.

And I'll change the way the packet's handled, I knew it would soon grow into an issue.

Must admit, I am afraid of folk who are used to coding the old old gumps system and write the same way in the new GF system. What do I mean? GFGumps allows you to set variables to GFAddButton presses. It really freaks me to still see tests for numbers in the gump return :) OldnGrey - Can you show m...

It'll be finished, no idea when though. It wont get heavily re-worked, I may change how everything is done, like the gumps, but functionality will stay the same, so people will still be able to update and not have to change anything, unless they have custom work in it them selfs. All things that are...
