does runuo not supporting uo:kr mean it won't work on runuo? I doubt it won't, and im sure lots of people will just use the client on runuo servers :/

Ohh ok. I've been browsing these forums for a couple of years now and enjoyed POL based shard.

I just donated $20, not a lot, but it's what i can afford to part with atm. Thanks for POL!

Noticed your a bit rude and arrogant barb, just an observation.

It's for when i don't want to reload a gump, ie im on page 10 and just want a button that takes someone to a webpage or something.

Gumps and GF_SCRIPT_BTN

I know its limited to what you guys can do concerning gumps as it's mostly client side. I don't suppose it would be possible to add something like GF_SCRIPT_BTN to start a selected script without closing the gump.

Just a question. What's wrong with the 2d client at the moment? Is it not in a complete enough state to continue to use if the 2d client is eventually scrapped?

hmm, ive only ever hosted one from behind a static ip address router.

I would have thought --ip-- would get the correct ip :/

Maybe have 2 server entries, --ip-- and --lan--

Just things to try i guess :/

change the

IP zandorhome.homeip.net
to
IP --ip--

This way POL will use your current ip address, only need that dns for the players login.

how do i edit "packet"? does .setintx(x, x) overwrite whats there or just make the packet bigger? and how is it different than me creating a new packet and assigning "packet" to that one?

Editing packets.

Is it possible to hook a packet like 0x6C (target cursor) and edit the packet info the client sends? I want it to always show the result of GetMapInfo() in the last part of the packet, instead of the landtile or static #. What ive got now is a hook catching the packet and creating a new packet of th...

mm, yeh character height is causing lotsa problem. like the sewers in brit. u cant move when u walk onto the raised ledge near it. Maybe there could be an option in servspecopt.cfg EnableNewCharHeight 1/0. I personally don't have a use for a higher char height as it was fine in 095. Out of interest ...
