we rewrite not for fun we do it to fix bugs, improve speed, memory usage. Pol has a very old codebase so many things have to be rewritten. On the shard I work for we always try to keep the core up to date to test and use the new features. No current problems found. But since every shard has its own...

You can create a script with infinite loop and events listner. Connect there to sql, wait for events and write events info into database whole time.

There is much more WEB work as POL scripting.

On the POL side just use AUX connections like its done here http://forums.polserver.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2034
and send info about players coordinates to WEB.

WEB side is another question. You should ask it on WEB_Devs forums

I would say you have problems with your client (muls)
It doesn't look like a screenshot from your first message :D

if you press at this blue gem, you must see this 'corner' gump somewhere.
If not - your client is broken.

Turn on ToggleBuffIconWindow in your client. (Press STATUS @ Paperdoll, and then click at blue gem on the left side of status gump)
You must have this 'corner' gump on your screen.

It's just a nonsense.
Function SendBuffPacket returns FALSE everytime. It doesnt make any sense to check it.

Because BuffOn returns nothing, so your buff_icons variable is everytime false.


BuffOn is an example how it works. You should modify BuffOn function and add default case, return 0 or 1 etc.
