Re: Memory profiling?

Well, if you run Windows, I can talk to Turley and we can do a special Build for you that includes a Memory Leak Detector system we have been using to locate and eliminate Memory Leaks. We started using these builds, and tools, after I fixed the massive Packet Object leak with hooks and CreatePacket...

Re: UOFiddler (ex UOViewer) (ex InsideUO alternative)

I would say once the Multi Editor plugin is finished. That's right, Editor :D Added some more export options for those who want images for webpages, naming xml for the multis tab, few design changes (nothing major), and a nice new plugin to replace House Builder, UOArchitect, etc. Once again, one le...

Just a few thoughts

Been spending some time with Turley learning his nice work here and doing what I can to help. Got a few things to think on, and discuss, since I never messed with WRITING the editors that much before, just using them hehe. 1: Under settings an option called "Custom" or some similar. This would be fo...

That's because while UO freeshard community may be dying out, POL 099 will be taking a new direction in supporting both UO and custom MMORPGs. More to come as 099 is developed.

Re: Client crash on player creation

Report this on the bug tracker.

It's a client support issue more than likely, rather than a core bug. But we can look into it in 099 if you post it to the bug tracker for us.

Re: If you are bored.... Another ContextMenu Not Finished

After a few questions in PM and IM, Figured would drop a hint here about the ContextMenu Config. With the newer clients, that do not use the Cliloc files with the names if "intloc1" etc, you get the ID in a different way then the Scripts explain. Newer Clients method for obtaining the ID to use in t...

Re: UO:KR Gumps?

The differences here is, KR requires different packet structures than what the 2D client does. That is what causes the crashes, etc. We have updated 098 Core to work with the NEW 2D packet structures, but full KR support has not been done yet. This is due to wanting to get the core more stable for 0...

Re: UO:KR Gumps?

That's because the new 3D KR client isn't 100% supported yet. It's the KR era clients in 2D that are now 100% supported (6.0.1.7 up to the latest patch from EA).

Re: [Help]New Server, POL 098 Clients?

098 will be an excellent choice, since it supports now all 2D client versions (even the latest 6.0.13.0 client). 098 Final should be out in a month, maybe less depending on bug reports and stability (working hard to accomplish this goal). The client you choose, is only depending on the features you ...
