Hey, well I seem to be having connection problems to my pol server.
I have downloaded and installed 097, everything seems to be ok and had no errors during the installation.

In the servers.cfg file i have it set as my external IP address, not a lan one. I have gotten my friend to try to login,

Yes there are many scripts that do that. If you are looking at making your own then read this topic, http://forums.polserver.com/ftopic2057.php, it has basic details that you will need.
