So, no workarounds for debian servers?

I'm using 097.

What I would like to do is that the corpse of the charachter remain dressed as it was before death.
In standard 097 distro, the corpse is naked.

Apart from that, is there any way to having the ghost not shown at all?

Just installed 097 to our Debian server.
Trying to compile, all I got is: Is gentoo mandatory? How may I run POL on a Debian?
I remember, a few years ago, 095 worked fine on my Debian.

In my shard, karma, fama, being blue or red is only a distracting thing, so I have to completely remove it, to have an "all grey" pg base.

Using 097, what should I do? Is there a painless way of just disable it? Do I have to patch every script related to kill, steal, poison, etc?

I'm using 097 for an italian shard, so the presence of the article "a " before every item name is very annoying.

Sorry, that was just a newbie error.

Something went wrong with cvs, and the sources were not downloaded.
Now it's Ok.
I can now confirm that the cvs distro has no issues with textcommands

I just installed 097 on my test shard.
As Admin, the command bar shows up, but the commands simply don't work.

What's missing?
Maybe the .src of the single text commands are not there? I mean, I DL'ed the entire 097 distro in CVS.

I'm just beginning with 097, so consider me a total newbie.. last ...

I've just DL'ed and (hopefully) correctly configured the last 097 distro from CVS.
Compiling is ok, And POL runs fine except for "Exception while loading script scripts/start.ecl"

When Loggin in with admin, POL says "Exception while loading script scripts/misc/oncreate.scl"
