Check in any logon.src files that exist in your script set. There may be more than one as you can define one in any package.

Unless you have made some significant changes to the way virtue is handled, it should already do that. With the Sanctuary scripts, there is no "negative virtue" for the titles, there is merely a set of "negative virtue titles", which are still based on positive virtue. To set someone as using the ...

You were actually quite close :)

use uo;

include "../pkg/character/orders/orders";

program honor ( player, parms )

var yourvirtue := abs ( GetVirtueAmount (you) );
var yourhonor := GetObjProperty ( player, "honor" );

if ( !yourhonor )
yourhonor := {};
yourhonor[1] := yourvirtue ...

I have no idea at this point, you need to compile the scripts and see where that fails. See what error messages ecompile comes up with.

And just to reiterate what I stated above:

One other note: I just realized, in rereading your first post, that you previously were running 095 and have now put in the 096 core. Please realize that you are most likely going to have to make ALOT of script and config file changes for it to run. There ...

After you issue the command to compile, watch its output and it will print to the screen any errors that occur during compile.

I assume that the compile stopped with errors? Or did it actually compile anything?

It sounds like your scripts are not compiling.

1 - Open a command prompt window (On Windows) or a console window (On Linux)
2 - Change your directory to the directory with pol.exe in it. (Ex., on windows, if pol.exe is in the folder c:\pol, you would enter this command to change your directory to there: cd c:\pol)
3 - Type in this command and ...

It looks like you didn't run the statics step with uocovert:

uoconvert statics realm=britannia

That or something bad happened during that step. Could you open up a command window, do that step and then post what the output of the command is? It should have an error message there or some indication ...

Actually the better answer would have been "regions are automatically expanded to a 64x64 grid".
Yeah, thats what I was trying to explain to him, but you did it much better.

Though I didn't have the pretty grid map prop ;)

Hmm, would this do the trick?

var zHtmlText := "";

endforeach

WriteHtml(zHtmlText);

My Html is pretty rusty so I don't remember if the <br> tag does a newline or not...

Just adding an entry to datafile.txt like that doesn't create the datafile. Not that I've ever been able to get it to do anyway, I just tried several different ways to be sure. You need to create the datafile in code.

Yes, datafiles are stored in \data\ds, however, they are referenced internally by package name.

So, you would want your logging script in a package called "logs". Then, you would use OpenDataFile(":logs:logfilename").

You can use whatever package you would like, you don't have to use "logs". But ...

I can only guess that it is something else in your script. If I copy and paste the above and use it in a gump like below, it works perfectly for me. It creates 3 separate radio groups that all function properly.

use uo;

program TestGump(mWho)
var layout := array {
"group 0",
"radio 80 210 210 ...

You are correct as far as I know. I believe it goes into that mode if it has a good chuck of data to send out and it doesn't think it can send it out at once in a timely fashion.

Make sure your pol folder is as close to the root of your drive as you can get it. If the path is too long, ecompile will not be able to compile the script.

Also make sure you list all of your pkg folders and such in your ecompile.cfg or it will miss them as well.

I added an AttackAnim <animNumber> to each npcdesc entry for each of the animations I wanted them to play out for combat. Then, in your hook, you can just read in their desc entry and get the AttackAnim entries to have them perform.

Other than that, to be easier, I believe most of them, possibly ...

Mobile MethodScripts (Both NPC and PC)

Would be tremendously helpful if we could add MethodScripts for mobiles like we can for items. I'm not sure how difficult this is to do, but it would certainly be a very big boon scripting wise.
