On clients < 7.0.9.0 these animations are displayed like bobbing up and down on the mount, for example while casting a spell. What I was just saying is that at the moment it results that on newest clients those anims are not displayed at all.

Hi Xeon, which version are you using? It seems I can manage sounds from UOFiddler. However you can use MULPatcher that allows you to hear sounds too

There is a config animxlate, probably you can fix it there. But i don't know exactly how, never used it. If you don't want change your itemdesc files you should hook the single-click packet and manage by custom functions your items names.
