Re: PH Release Date
I do not post 10 different places under this name. I do believe here and one other place. Anyhow, new topic for this. Is located in the POL Tools section. As of last year my life fell in the can. Wife left, cat died, lost my job all at once. Took a good year to get my life back into one piece. Orbsy...

Re: RUNUO vs Pol
Holy smokes, Austin posted. Hey man, how are the Heli's? I just need to drop my 2 cents in. PoL by far is the: Least Memory Intensive Least Redundant (Script Wise) Most Enjoyable Most Artistic Un-Appreciated Long Lived Emulator to date. I am WELL verse in both RUNUO and POL. I prefer POL. On the oth...

Re: UO NEXUS REPLACEMENT FOR UOGATEWAY
We received a cease and desist from DefianceUO.com. But do not worry we will be back up under a different name. :P Apparently Defiance Net does not view free shards like we all do, as an attempt to spread the joy of UO and rather as intellectual property. Of course, if RunUO thought like that, then ...

Re: TSSE Reborn
:deadhorse: Well I hate to say it, but yeah I agree. On the other hand POL has done a wonderful job of skipping core to core with VERY slow package development. While I would LOVE to submit to the distro, I do not want to rework my scripting style/format for the distro. I will simply create a fully ...

TSSE Reborn
Update: I was talking to Austin last night over the topic of his project TSSE Reborn. Going through his code base, which is mostly unfinished, I am basically starting from scratch on the 098 core. So if there is anyone out there with previous knowledge of TSSE it would be greatly appreciated. Austin...

Re: how can server support more players online?
:deadhorse: I know this post is old. I want to post this for future viewers due to this coming up often. People jump the gun on things and take up the 'serious' people's time. He is asking for architecture allot like the one that WoW or Second Life. This not only shows a complete lack of knowledge o...

Re: PH Release Date
I think you are right and I think that is causing a problem. The hold up is this.
I am creating a painting program that will allow you to, extract a gump, paint on it, then import it back in, this all happens in real time. I am finding this to be a side project of its own almost.

Let characters remain newbied for a length of time and have the title newbie. When a newbie dies they keep everything in their pack. Make it a substantial amount of time. Doi...
