I wish I had more time to look at Essence but currently I am trying to make the Distro more modern and updated. Perhaps I will be able to work with Essence in the future. I suppose you could rephrase the declaration as: REALM_FELUCCA := _DEFAULT_REALM: REALM_TRAMMEL := REALM_BRITANNIA_ALT; It accomplished the same purpose. I don't care how you phrase the declaration. And you need to have an account defined in accounts txt. Use the example I posted earlier. One thing you should know is you cannot change any txt file in the data folder if POL is running. To add the account information to accounts.txt you must shut down POL by pressing control-c in the POL console....

Don't delete pol.txt from the data folder though. POL will not start if that file is deleted. It has information inside that POL needs to start.

I did see your example. After you stated POL it clears accounts.txt. That is what is happening. So the next time you open the file it is empty. Correct? I have never had that happen. That is why I think one of the programmers who works on the POL Core can help you.

Are you saying POL is deleting the contents of the accounts.txt file? I have never had that happen. I think one of the Core developers needs to help you but I will try to find the problem also.

If I understand you there is a problem with the accounts.txt file.. If it is missing or a there is a problem with the admin account try using this as the account setting.

Actually I am not sure if Essence can be implemented with POL. I think it requires some editing of the server source code and from what it appears it's not minor code editing. I looked in the Fantasia 2011 release that was posted and I downloaded and didn't find it there in the BrainAI folder. If it is there it isn't named auctioneer or anything that starts with the letters "auc". Maybe it is named a French word for auctioneer?

It's actually my "fault" because I spent the month or so converting the 0 95 Distro for 0.96 and then updating it to 0.99. How foolish to want a working set of scripts. :)
