Re: Party System
I have been very busy with school lately, but I think I have some time now since I quit some other activities. Yeah, I see now that there are some problems and I'd like to fix them. However, it seems the package was removed from the latest distro because the core handles it now. I remember someone t...

Awesome, another open source thread. These are always a lot of fun. Here's a little secret: POL is not really that closed source. If you're a cool guy and a wizard with Visual C++ you could probably talk to Muad, Austin or Shini and help out if you wanted. The overwhelming majority of the functional...

what i want to see most of all, is the rest of the skills scripted. Skills will come along much more quickly once the dependent systems are put into place. I would dearly like the foundation systems checked for consistency. I think I know what you mean, but could you elaborate? Like I said, the mai...

A little feedback
I have some free time with it being nearly christmas and all so I've been doing some housekeeping around the distro, trying to finish it up! One thing I noticed is a lot of bug reports / patches, etc... and that is just great. Thanks a lot for helping. It's always appreciated and sending patches is ...

Re: Little error in script
Thanks for this. It has been fixed in the distro.ELSoft wrote:In Distro 097 "pkg/items/sysbook/commands/gm/readonly.src" the cfgfile.em is not declared and the script use ReadConfigFile and GetConfigString.

Hello Yukiko, glad to see you're still around. I'm well aware of the Ancient Codex of Eternal Servitude of POL - Manual And Guidelines -- Your Companion for a Friendlier, Happier, Workplace But if you'll read in Article 137, Section 9, Subsection 13-F, Clause 8, lines 15-18: Whatever tekproxy does, ...

Where is tekproxy?
Tekproxy is busy with work. So busy it hurts him. In my free time I've taken up competitive natural selection (HL1 mod). BUT... I feel the itch to code again. In a few weeks when I am done wrapping up all this stuff at work, I intend to hop back into the distro.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will rem...

You could probably do it but it may lag the server. You'd also have to be very careful of crashing the client. If you do packet hooks, you know what I'm talking about. If you want to just be nasty, it would be easy to write a function like CrashClient(). If you could find out a client process that i...
