In the game Dungeons and Dragons you roll dice to determine random numbers to see if you succeed or fail things. A d10 is a 10-sided die. So 2d10 is two 10-sided dice.
Since each die has a possible value of 1-10, 2d10 is a value between 2 and 20. The +10 means add 10 to whatever number is created.
2d10+10 = 12-30
