Usage of Debug Port

Hi,

in the POL configuration file, there is a setting for the port of the debugger.
This sounds like an interesting feature, but I could not find more information in the pol documentation (I hope I have not overlooked it).

Can someone please point me to the type of debugger expected to connect to that port (is it GDB, or simple telnet?). Which type of functionality is available via this interface?

Did you do any investigations by yourself, like telnet-ing the port?

I just used telnet against the debug port. I get prompted for an authorization.

Does anyone know what kind of authorization the debugger expects?

If I am not mistaken you set the password in the pol.cfg file.

I have never used this myself but would like to know how it works.

Yes, I have set the password in pol.cfg.
But when I connect to the debugger and get prompted for authentification and enter this password, I am told that it is wrong Crying or Very sad
