He can't be that drunk. His scripts make sense...for the most part anyway.

Engines don't run without fuel and real coders can't work without coffee, beer and (at least over here) lots of cigarettes ;)

Sadly it doesn't seem to work vice versa - I'm drinking gallons of coffee and beer and tortureing my lungs, but still produce useless code. Maybe if I replace the beer with Vodka? :)

No coffee, just beer. IMO, cigarettes help. Liquor... eh, never helped me.

Another vote for beer and cigarettes.
My pick is guinness stout and marlboro reds.

Ah, that might be the mistake. Okay, I'll try without coffee then.

No coffee, no beer, just plain old soda here :D

I drink almost a half a case a day. Usually more when I'm coding.

Maybe you're equally 'inebriated' when reading the code I write?

oh I should definately be on this list...

while I am definately picky about quality, I'm NOT picky about the drink. I love Beer, Ale, Red Wine, White Wine, Whiskey(Scotch, Irish), Bourbon (LOVE SMALL BATCH KENTUCKY BOURBON!!)... Gin, Grappa, Vodka... there's not a spirit, beer, or grape wine I don't like...

and for me it's all %100 pure tobacco products, but no inhaling... and definately no big name chemirrettes...

I'd recommend trying it. It's pretty good if you don't mind bitter taste.

Liquorice (sometimes spelled Licorice) does have a bitter aftertaste.

Oh FYI there is only one kind of Liquorice. The one commonly refferred to as "Red Liquorice" is simply a concoction of imitation cherry flavour mixed with a sugar gelatin base and extruded into "twists". Unfortunately even most "Black Liquorice" is made from synthetic flavouring now.

Ouzo has a Liquorice flavour as well. Never had Absnthe. Absinthe is not Liquorice flavoured but derives its taste from Anise, a plant with similar flavour but subtly different than the Liquorice root. Anise tends to be more bitter.

ANyway, enough of my useless facts.

Drink up and destroy those brain cells!

*pours a glass of Ouzo over ice*
