Aloha.

Im currently re-doing a regions.cfg, and I found it to be really buggy, At least I THINK so.

This is a picture of Cove, the red guardline indicates the area saved in my gzones.cfg and my regions.cfg, and the yellow line indicates where it says "I have left town guards". So really it is telling me I left the guardzone alot later than I actually have. It's only effecting the message, there are no guards there (as its supposed to be), but this could confuse people alot.

I have triple double quadruple triplicated double noobzor checked this, and all the coords are perfect, so unless I am really stupid and missing something, I don't know whats wrong.

I got help the other night, and was told regions had to be larger than 64x64.. Which they all are but it still wont fix (its like this with alot of my other lines too)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's really annoying. I wish it were more accurate too.

Actually the better answer would have been "regions are automatically expanded to a 64x64 grid".

POL divides the map into a 64x64 tile grid, so if the area in yellow was the location defined in your regions.cfg, then POL will automatically expand it to conform to the 64x64 grid (the blue area).

A picture to demonstrate:

It's a pain sometimes, but thats the way it works.

I made an image like the above of my entire map with the grid to help when planning regions.

Yeah, thats what I was trying to explain to him, but you did it much better.

From what it looks like though if you partially enter one of the 64x64 areas it will auto expand it out to the boundries of that section.

I think it is not 64x64 but 32x32 areas. That is my experience.
