I setup a modest computer to be like.. a tester shard, tech-demo of latest cores and the current distro status.. etc.

Specs:
AMD Sempron 1800+
512 megabytes of memory
2x 20 gig hard drives
Abit NF7S2 mainboard.

The login is:
LoginServer=poldistro.dyndns.org,5003

You can access its webserver through
http://poldistro.dyndns.org:5000

To connect you follow the second (not the first) post in this.. that explains client connection stuff:
http://forums.polserver.com/viewtopic.php?p=3176#3176
(Quick link to get UO Gold: http://www.gamedaily.com/download/info/?packageid=0078700170)

It gives people a gm character on creation, accounts are created on login.
This is to show off the newest features of UO and POL. The data folder will be wiped every so often and refreshed off the SVN. So don't worry about messing anything up.

Scripts will be updated and recompiled when myself, shini, muad or adam do an svn update on it and recompile. Eventually this will be automated.

All the realms are built with uoconvert.. only britannia (the main realm) is setup. ... but hopefully people will feel encouraged to build config files for the other realms (and fix the ones in britannia?)

Dont worry about feeling 'lost' as a gm character, the 097 distro has a new command bar feature. Screen shots can be seen here:

If I do an SVN update they just laugh at me and call me names...

You know youre loved. Finish those spell scripts so people can cast them on the test server and be like "Ooo these spells are great, thanks Tekproxy" and then you will stand proud.. instead of playing Counter Strike all day like an emo kid!

You're just like my parents austin you don't understand me!!1

I play NS by the way--not CS... for the record. That and I've been busy with work. I've got to band-aid a semi-big access frontend/database. Spend all day working on it and get 2 or 3 small things done because the code is so weird. I wish I had more time to work on spells though.
