I know is this for development, and there are lists of Ultima Online shards, but I can't find any good POL shards that I want to play on. I was wondering if anybody was developing a PvP/PvM POL server and would be opened shortly. If it's a shard with loads of those fancy bright neon colors, i'm not interested, i'm just looking for a simple shard, that's fun and has balanced PvP. If you are in the process of making a shard that you think fits my description, or know of one, please reply in this thread.
I kinda liked the fact that there was no 'Advertisements Board' here anymore... which is why I, ages ago, had removed my post from the one before, and removed all links pointing to my shard from my profile.
Errr... that said, why not try some 'Top UO Site' List or something? Search for 'free uo shard' on Google, for instance. Or, I'm sure you'll get plenty of links in response to this post too, anyway...
anyways, there were a ton of changes and implementations, most notibly the snooping and stealing script, this was written from scratch by me and took a ton of packet hooking and packet modification to work, since no other POL shard has snooping/stealing this package will need the most attention from the players and your feedback is crucial,
Neverlands has stealing/snooping working for almost 2 years now...

Are you kidding me??
What the heck is so special on stealing? *scratches head*
SendViewContainer( who, victim.backbag);
...and then add an onremove script to backbags.... with whatever skillchecks or conditions you need, not much work really. So why packet mods? what's the catch? Packetmods sounds like an overkill to me.
I added a function that emu. the stats messages that you receive when one of your stats changes. The Strings look like: <PlayerName>'s <Attribute> has changed by <Amount>. I removed the second part: It is now <AttributeTotal>. to avoid the caster to discover the targer's base attribute on curses. Fixed Agility as well. All theses little fixes make us Advancec! Have fun dear players.
