Here is the latest error I have received in trying to compile the distro scripts:

Code:
Compiling: D:/Distro_POL_96/096/pkg/mobiles/oldAI/pirate.src
Token '(' cannot follow token 'co_target'
Function co_target() is not defined.
Error compiling statement at D:\Distro_POL_96\096\pkg\mobiles\oldAI\pirate.src,
Line 40
Error compiling statement at D:\Distro_POL_96\096\pkg\mobiles\oldAI\pirate.src,
Line 37
Error compiling statement at D:\Distro_POL_96\096\pkg\mobiles\oldAI\pirate.src,
Line 34
Error detected in program body.
Error occurred at D:\Distro_POL_96\096\pkg\mobiles\oldAI\pirate.src, Line 40
Execution aborted due to: Error compiling file

Anyone know where I can find the function co_target?

I have searched the distro scripts and cannot find a place where it is defined.

Any help will be appreciated.

Well the deal is.. I kept a lot of old stuff because I was trying to build a new code base... I havn't had the motivation to do anything for months though.

A lot of stuff just got shifted around and redone and a lot of packages havnt been updated. MuadDib was going to do most the skills, but I think he lost interest and time too ... atleast he still works on the core though... I am just really out of it with this whole computer thing right now ;-)

Computer thing? Are you having computer problems Austin? If so sorry to hear about that. It's always a love/hate thing with computers.

I was hoping to look into using most of the 96 Distro to base a shard off of but it sounds like I may as well just trash the 96 Distro scripts and take 95 Distro and port that to work with 96. I would be willing to continue working on the 96 Distro but it's hard when there isn't any help out there. Most of "us" probably just convert their shards and slug through that process rather than start over with a new Distro. I imagine getting anyone on this side of the POL family to be dedicated to the Distro is impossible. I can understand why the developers would throw in the towel and give-up without our support.

I am disappointed that there has been so much of a structure change in the scripts with 96 Distro. It's hard enough tearing apart scripts to add things. If you add to that the relearning the structure of the thing, you just add insult to injury. Doctor McCoy was right when he said "You know engineers, they love to change things."

Please understand I appreciate the work you guys do. It's just I am "an old dog" and I don't learn new tricks easily. So forgive the complaining.

You don't happen to have a version of the 95 Distro ported to 96 laying around do you Austin?

*grins*

Anyway, thanks again for all the hard work.

Yes I second that. Thank you all very much for your hard work. You, Muad, and all the other devs and people who have contributed.

OldAI isnt supported anymore anyway. I was trying to move everything over to the brain AI which is so far, the best AI system POL has.
