This os off topic but kinda POL related.
I have a shard in beta and trying to add forums to the website but as I've never configured one from scratch, I'm having real problems.
My site is hosted on IIS6, using SQL 5 for the DB and been trying both PHPbb and vBulletin as the forum software, but can't get anywhere with either, due to errors like this during configuration:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Exodus\forums\includes\class_core.php on line 271.

I have no idea iof this is a IIS, DB or forum cfg error.

Anyone have experiance of setting up forums?

Find your config file for the forum, and set it up correctly. You will need to set it for the correct type of DB(database). It defaults if i remember right, to mysql. Need to set it for the type you are using.
