As far as I know POL97 is almost finished. For sure POL staff will work (i hope so) on POL98 and further releases. Im wondering about name of POL after 99 release . POL00 ? POL100? Any ideas?

Where'd you get 'POL97' from? Look up at the top of this page:
Quote: Official Core: 096.4b Official Beta: 097 2006-10-29 RC
There's a 0 in front of it. So after 097, comes 098, 099, then, obviously, 100. Or, maybe they will change the numbering scheme, or just make it 'POL 1.0', or, who knows?

Its just a build number, so 098, 099, 100, etc.

Hmm...
I always thought the version numbers were to be read as 0.95, 0.96 etc. as in pre version 1.00. Anyway, whatever system it is makes no diff really cause we are all using it whatever number the devs give it.

Heh, thats kinda how I always saw it too.. 0.96 0.97.. etc.
Like you said though, doesn't really matter what number it is, we'll still use the latest one. Though, just as long as the numbers go UP... if the next release was POL058.. man would I be confused!

Aye, it was 0.xx and so forth. Basically still is, just leaving the . out of it
The plan after 0.99 has been discussed, but we decided we would cross that bridge when we reach it

Yes, but I don't think we got what official VERSION that answer was, so how can we be sure it's the current, correct answer, or if it's deprecated?
