Hey ppl.
I only want to use Tokuno map (without using/uoconverting Brittania realm).
I noticed that startloc.cfg only applies to realm 0(britt).
Ofcourse I could just move the character to Tokuno after creation but It would mean loading Britt for that single purpose and nothing else - silly waste of memory.
How do I set the startloc to somewhere in realm 4?
You can't start a shard without britannia loading (map0 felucca).
Storage areas are created in that realm so you need it.
I can't see any realm parameter in the startloc.cfg file definitions. As you know, oncreate can move your character anywhere you like on any realm instantly, so it's no real disadvantage.
There is one other consideration to using Tokuno - you will find it's hard to set up treasuremaps using multimap.rle, as it is a map of britannia (felucca). I've heard of people fudging it so the map is another realm, but no matter what you do, you can only make treasuremaps in a single ream.
You can also use a map copy tool to copy the Tokonu map over the top of felucca and simply play on map0 but with Tokuno terrain. Then redo multimap.rle to match.
It all depends on what you want to do. Just be aware of all the limitations before you go ahead and how much of a download you want for your players.

I've been gone from uo community for a long time, but i remember someone posting the data files with basic world completed (doors, signs etc).
Are those files still around?
I really hate the idea of setting up doors all over again;]
